“The question I get asked a lot lately is, ‘Could Zepbound be more effective than Ozempic?’
Well, clinical trials show that it may help lose up to 39 percent more weight.1,2
Which is why some experts even say that Zepbound might be the biggest weight loss drug of all time,” said Dr. Cordell, an MD in Endocrinology.
Given that, the rapidly increasing interest in this drug didn’t surprise the expert at all.
Especially when there are so many people who struggle to shut down “food noise” and lose any weight no matter what they try.
“However, nobody seems to talk about why those who already took Zepbound say they regret it.
And this, in fact, applies to Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy, and other similar drugs.
That’s why I want everyone considering Zepbound to know about an alternative way to trigger the same two ‘weight loss’ hormones,” said the expert.
According to Dr. Cordell, Zepbound actually works in a very similar way to Ozempic.
But the difference is that instead of just one, it mimics two “weight loss” hormones.
“Now, the hormone both Zepbound and Ozempic mimic is called GLP-1.
And it promotes weight loss in the following three ways:
But it’s the second hormone that makes Zepbound up to 39 percent more effective than Ozempic,” said Dr. Cordell.
What’s interesting about GIP, which is the second hormone, is that it causes negative energy balance.4
And when the body detects this energy “deficit,” it taps into body fat as an energy source.5
“In fact, scientists at the University of Colorado have found that a negative energy balance accounts for up to 80 percent loss of body fat.6
Which is why clinical trials show Zepbound to be that much more effective than Ozempic.
But no matter how promising that sounds, there’s one question I want to ask those who consider this drug.
Are you really willing to inject yourself with Zepbound indefinitely?”
The expert agreed that losing up to 21 percent of body weight with Zepbound is impressive.
However, gaining most of it back within a year is not so much.
In fact, the Zepbound clinical trials show that this is what happens after quitting this drug.7
It’s because injecting GLP-1 and GIP antagonists decreases the natural production of these two hormones.
So, the body becomes less capable of regulating blood sugar, hunger, and burns fewer calories than before.
Which is why those who quit Zepbound may even gain more weight than they initially lost.
“Of course, some people want to lose weight so badly that they are determined to use it for as long as it takes.
However, they will most likely quit Zepbound after a while because of its side effects.
Nausea, bloating, stomach cramps, constipation, and vomiting are all pretty common after the first shot.
But these are only short-term side effects.
The long-term ones include kidney failure, severe stomach and gallbladder problems, pancreatitis, hypoglycemia, and even thyroid cancer.
And they are all listed on the Zepbound label,” explained the expert.8
Dr. Cordell explained that by triggering the secretion of both GLP-1 and GIP, it’s possible to lose weight in a similar way as with Zepbound.
But without any of its nasty and even dangerous side effects.
And obviously, without leaving the body less capable of burning calories and regulating appetite.
But the question is, how?
“What scientists have just discovered is that there’s a specific probiotic strain that promotes the secretion of these two ‘weight loss’ hormones.
However, the way Bifidobacteria does it is not by improving gut health, which it does, too.
Because otherwise, anyone taking probiotic supplements would experience weight loss.
Instead, this specific probiotic strain promotes GLP-1 and GIP production directly,” said the expert.9,10,11,12,13
But Dr. Cordell added that taking just a random Bifidobacteria supplement is not enough.
Because it’s not that easy to raise GLP-1 and GIP production to the level they would promote weight loss.
That’s why it’s so important to choose the right supplement containing Bifidobacteria.”
“Lately, I’ve been frequently asked if Zepbound can really help lose a significant amount of weight.
But instead of just saying that it’s not worth it, I explain that they will likely regain all the weight.
And also how harsh and dangerous the side effects of this drug actually are.
Then I recommend Bioma as a safe way to trigger these two ‘weight loss’ hormones,” said Dr. Cordell.
And according to the expert, none of those who took her advice complained that they didn’t lose weight.
“It’s because Bioma meets all the specific criteria to promote GLP-1 and GIP.
First, it contains not one, not two, but three types of Bifidobacteria.
Second, these specific probiotic strains are in sufficient quantities.
Third, it contains prebiotic fiber and postbiotic enzymes that help Bifidobacteria thrive in the gut.14,15
Fourth, all these ingredients are delivered in a targeted-release capsule so they pass through the digestive tract intact,” explained the expert.
Dr. Cordell then quickly added that the weight loss may not be as rapid as with Zepbound.
However, there are no side effects or risk of implications to the natural GLP-1 and GIP production.
Which would then negatively affect the body’s ability to regulate blood sugar, hunger, and burn calories effectively.
That’s why, according to Dr. Cordell, those who tried Bioma instead of Zepbound said that a bit slower yet sustainable weight loss is definitely worth it.

Thank you for your comment
I’ve been considering Zepbound since it was approved by the FDA… So, it seems that I made a good choice avoiding it. Has anyone tried this supplement this doctor suggested? How did it work for you?
It’s great to see safer alternatives being discussed. I’m definitely going to look into Bioma. Curious to see if it could help me lose weight!
Ex Zepbound user here. I can confirm that the side effects are nasty and start soon after the first shot. I’m a bit skeptical, but after reading a few of the studies quoted here, I’m going to give this supplement a try. Wish me luck!
